Back Pain Relief Exercise

Hi, my name is Dr. Rachana Vora.

Today we’ll talk about back pain.

Back pain is caused when you travel for long hours, due to wrong sitting posture and poor core strength.

So today I’m going to show you a few exercises for your back which will help relieve your back pain.

Back press – Bend both your knees. Press your back to the floor. Count till 3. Slowly come back to your normal position. Do this exercise 10 times, thrice a day.

Bridging - Bend both your knees. Lift your back off the floor. Hold this position and count to three. Slowly come back to your normal position. Do this exercise 10 times, thrice a day.

Half Bhujangasana – Keep your elbows at shoulder level. Hold till the count of 2. Come back to your normal position.

Full Bhujangasana – Place your palms on the floor at shoulder level. Stretch. Hold till the count of 3. Come back to your normal position.

Hamstring stretch – Take a firm strap in your hand. Stretch one leg up and hook the strap on your toe. Pull the strap with both your hands. Hold for 30 seconds. Loosen your grip on the strap. Put your leg on the floor.
