Back Ache

Lifting heavy objects can strain your muscles, or sprain tendons or ligaments that can cause minor back pain or injuries. Back injuries commonly develop in the lower back or lumbar region. And where there is injury, there is pain. You may experience pain immediately or gradually over a few days.

Neck & Shoulder Pain

Repetitive motion and strenuous physical activities, such as throwing a ball or lifting heavy objects, can cause neck & shoulder pain. It’s a result of strained muscles, tendons or ligaments. Pain is usually felt at the point of injury and symptoms may also include stiffness and soreness. Mostly, it can be relieved within a few days. Most minor neck & shoulder injuries can be treated at home using the RICE method: Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. But in some cases, neck pain can indicate serious injury or illness and require a doctor’s care.

Ankle Pain

An ankle sprain occurs when ligaments tear, or get overstretched, usually through excessive stress in that area. One or more ligaments can be injured during a sprain. An ankle sprain is one of the most common causes of ankle pain, being mainly caused by sudden twisting, turning, or rolling movements of the ankle. Pain will depend on the severity of the injury – whether there is a partial or complete tear, and whether one or more ligaments are involved. Treatment usually involves rest, ice, compression and immobilization of the ankle.
