Pain is an unpleasant feeling which causes discomfort, the pain that persists or progresses for a longer duration is known as chronic pain. The chronic pain remains and gradually increases over time and is often difficult and takes time to treat.

Acute pain starts through an injury which can range from paper cut to a physical activity but generally heals in 3 to 6 days’ time. Acute pain can be treated at home with most common RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) treatment as the muscles need very less time to heal for minor injuries.
